How To Take And Upload A Screenshot

1. Make sure that the information you want is visible on the screen. If you are taking a shot of Frostwire make sure the PM/Channel is on top and visible.

2. Press the 'Print Screen' Key on your keyboard.


3. Open 'Paint' (Windows XP - Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.)


4. In Paint, go to Edit > Paste. Your Screenshot should appear in Paint.


5. In Paint, go to File > Save As.


6. Browse to a location to Save you Screenshot (for example, Desktop). Name your Screenshot. SAVE AS A JPG otherwise you will end up with a HUGE .bmp file.


7. Your Screenshot is now Saved but you will need to upload it online for others to see it. CLICK HERE to take you to ImageShack where you can upload pictures free and without registration.
Make Sure 'Images/Video' is checked, then click the 'Browse' button and locate your Screenshot on your computer. Click Upload.
You will be taken to a page that gives you a list of links to your uploaded Screenshot. WRITE DOWN THE FIRST LINK. For Frostwire users you must make a note of this link because 'Copy and Paste' is Disabled in Frostwire Chat.

This link may be typed in Frostwire's Abuse Channel as proof of abusive behaviour.
